#problem

Skip The Call is an automated call response and scheduling platform that handles customer inquiries without requiring a live agent on every call. It addresses the operational overhead and wait times businesses face when staffing phone lines manually, routing and responding to calls programmatically so teams can manage customer communication at scale.

#what-i-built

  • I architected the platform end to end, from the Node.js and Express backend to the React front end and AWS deployment, using the MERN stack.
  • I integrated the Twilio API to power programmatic call handling, automated responses, and customer messaging.
  • I designed the MongoDB data model to persist call records, customer communication, and scheduling state.
  • I built the React front end for configuring call flows and reviewing customer interactions.
  • I deployed and operated the application on AWS, owning the cloud infrastructure and release process.
