Tabseera — Virtual classroom platform with live e-learning, built by Zeeshan Ashraf

#problem

Tabseera is a virtual classroom platform that delivers live e-learning through personalized learning paths and interactive content. It addresses the problem of fragmented, low-retention online education by giving learners structured paths and instructors a single environment to run interactive sessions. The system is built on the MERN stack with Redis for caching and session handling, and runs on AWS.

#what-i-built

  • I architected and built the platform end to end on the MERN stack, covering the Express and Node.js backend, the MongoDB data layer, and the React front end.
  • I designed the React front end for the virtual classroom experience, supporting personalized learning paths and interactive content for learners and instructors.
  • I integrated Redis for caching, session management, and faster reads on frequently accessed learning data.
  • I deployed and operated the platform on AWS, owning the cloud infrastructure and delivery pipeline.
  • I owned the full engineering lifecycle from architecture through backend, frontend, and cloud, keeping the implementation tied to the MERN, Redis, and AWS stack.
